A Fishing Obsession

We started fishing  bass tournaments in 1989 enjoying success in our beautiful Northern California Lakes. Lake Sonoma, Clear Lake, and Lake Berryessa are our stomping grounds. Bass fishing being one of the most enjoyable relaxing outdoor sports always moving never boring. I started wanting to share this great experience with others.  So I started Randyguides .com to do just that. The lakes around us are beautiful providing some of the best fishing in the state.  I hope to share with you this great sport wanting to get you hooked like I am. Sharing with you the techniques of successful bass fishing is my passion. 

We are a family with over 80 years of fishing and boating experience. My Brother is a champion tournament angler. Earning thousand of dollars fishing Mackinaw in the great state of Montana, We started early fishing in the San Francisco bay with our father. He loved fish of any kind but enjoyed striper fishing the most. We were lucky we developed the passion early. I am always torn when 1 hear my dad never taught me to fish. Having three daughters we have had some of our best times on the lake. So , with that being said join me for a morning or afternoon session of top shelf fishing.
